"Cocobaz Mediterranean Restaurant in North York is truly one of the most underrated spots in Toronto. It’s the biggest and most luxurious restaurant and shisha lounge I’ve seen so far. The hookah (shisha) is one of the best in Toronto, smooth and high quality. The Mediterranean food is amazing, fresh, full of flavor, and clearly premium quality. The interior design, decoration, and vibe are beautiful and completely different from other places. What really stands out is the friendly staff and caring manager — they genuinely make you feel welcome. If you’re looking for a luxury Mediterranean restaurant with top shisha in North York, Cocobaz is a must-visit."

With its chic interior, glowing ambiance, and Mediterranean-inspired dishes, this spot is where good taste meets good vibes — literally. We started with their signature sauces: creamy Hummus, smoky Baba Ganoush, and bold Muhammara, each one bursting with freshness and perfectly balanced spices. The Yalanjii, stuffed grape leaves with zesty rice and herbs, offered a tangy bite, while the Cigar Rolls were crisp, cheesy perfection; the kind of appetizer you can’t stop reaching for. Then came the showstopper: the Coco Kebab Platter. A feast for both the eyes and the taste buds, it featured tender, juicy skewers grilled to smoky perfection and served with all the classic Mediterranean accompaniments. "Maica is the sweetest girl ever! She is so attentive and kind. I appreciate the top notch customer service. Food is 10/10 as well. Cheese Pide, Fatoush salad, Shish tawook are what I’ve ordered - all 10/10. And atmosphere is lit. Dim lights, belly dancer on weekends, good shisha. Families and Young people are the demographic that come here. Recommend!"

"We checked out this newly opened spot in North York, for our date night and it instantly became one of my favourite finds in the area. The space has a clean, upscale feel that’s still warm and comfortable — perfect for a relaxed dinner, a hangout, or even a small celebration. Their Mediterranean menu is impressive from the start. The Coco Salmon was rich and perfectly cooked, the mix pides were decent too , and the creamy lentil soup was comforting and surprisingly memorable. If you love seafood then coco charcoal fish is a must try recommendation. The shisha really stood out too — smooth, flavourful, and definitely some of the best I’ve tried in the area. It’s the kind of place where you can easily settle in for the night. With its layout and vibe, it’s also a great option for private events or group dinners."

She made sure the entire time we were there that we were taken care of and that everything went smoothly. Our food and shisha were impeccable and the owner of the lounge came by and even dropped off complimentary desserts.
